Will’s PM swap

What you would do if you were Prime Minister for a week?

If I was Prime Minister for a week I would introduce a school dinner system, similar to that in parts of Scotland. There, they are rewarded with points for eating healthily, and these points can earn them prizes. I think this would be successful. “Hint, Hint”.
Next, I would spend a day in the office to find out what it actually involves. I would be interested in being the prime minister when I’m older but there’s all the little behind-the-scenes things that we don’t know that happens. I know some people say how bad our prime ministers are but if you think about the price that is put on there every move; I don’t know how much of a better job we could do. I would meet lots of people and introduce a National Frisbee Day on the Saturday of my week. (I love Ultimate Frisbee smile! )

What the Prime Minister would find if he lived your life for a week?

Firstly I would ask him to come with a group of other MPs so that he would experience how hard it is to get around in bigger groups, although, as they are adults, they would probably be trusted to go into a shop without somebody watching them 24/7!
He would find how hard it is for the general public to do everyday activities such as going into the city; it should be a simple bus journey but there is nearly always problems!
He would realise that a life without people doing jobs for him is a lot harder than he’d think. It’s easy to forget what something’s like when you’re used to having it done for you.

UNICEF made cartoons to celebrate the Convention on the Rights of the Child. We’ve included a selection of these around our site.
