Debate guidelines

Tell it like it is, give examples to back up your points – the UN wants to hear what life is really like for children and young people in England.

We want good debates that involve different age groups and people living in different circumstances – do what you can to encourage others to join in.

Your message will be posted within 24 hours. The Children’s Rights Alliance for England will remove words that could get you or us into trouble. We’ll keep this to an absolute minimum. We don’t want to spoil your debate.

By taking part in our debate, you agree: to show respect for other people’s opinions; not to post any messages that are hateful, offensive, threatening or misleading; not to post any messages that break the law; to keep personal information personal; and to allow the Children’s Rights Alliance for England (CRAE) to share the messages you post with a wider audience or in publications.
